Cartegena, Columbia Around 500 years old, Cartegena is one of the oldest cities in the Caribbean. The old Spanish fort sits atop a hill near the city center and its walls still offer protection to parts of the city. The city is situated in a bay within a bay, within yet another bay. Boca Chica is the main entrance to the outer bay and is guarded by cannons on the hill. Enough of that... let's hear some stories from our cruising friends. |

Costa Rica Costa Rica is worlds away from North America. The Museo de Oro is one of the finest museums in the world. Costa Rica has it all, mountains, desert areas, tropical rain forests, active volcanons, modern civilization, banana plantations, turtles in abundance, fine beaches, jungle, and an interesting culture.
